HOMELESS PERMANENT SUPPORTIVE HOUSING - VETERANS
A community-based outreach program which provides a range of supportive services to very low income veteran families in or transitioning to permanent housing, to promote housing stability, and prevent at-risk families from becoming homeless. Case management, crisis intervention, mental health services, substance abuse and recovery services, life skills training on issues such as parenting, budgeting, health care and home maintenance. Also has a veteran peer group that helps veterans find employment. Serving homeless and at risk homeless veterans in Fairfax, Prince William, Arlington, Loudoun counties and Alexandria City. Operated by VOA and the VA SSVF Office.
